Anchor Bowling Green
At the far end of the houses there sits the Anchor Bowling Green and Pavilion, which was built in 1896 and used by the mill workers.
A similar bowling club was established at the Ferguslie Mills complex and the workers organised inter-mill competitions, which were quite hotly contested events.
